  • Adding Images in Posts

      In order to add an image to a discussion, you need to first have a url to the image. This means that you have to upload the image to somewhere on the internet.

      One easy way to do this is to use www. www.postimage.com.

      You need to upload your image (remember anyone can see the image by reading a posting here, or other methods). After you upload the image you need to copy the 'html' line and paste it into a discussion comment.

      Here is the format of an image in html. (only needed if you do not use postimage.org)

      <img src="http://site.com/pictlink.jpg"/>

      This forum does not use BBCode - rather it uses html.

  • Adding Link

      You can add a link to a posting: Copy the template below, and replace xxx with the URL, and yyy with what you want to call it (which can be the same as the URL).

      <a href="xxx">yyy</a>

    No. Unlike other pdf management systems, Yep leaves your PDFs where you want them; no importing is necessary. Instead, you choose where you would like Yep to look for PDFs (by default it shows all the PDFs in your home account). See below for how to get Yep to act more like iTunes.

    <strong>Guest:</strong><br /><br />Except when I've asked it to move the document to another file system, in which case it duplicates the file, even though I asked it to Move.

    (This is something of a duplicate post from another thread, but....)

    I've been wondering about that myself. I would love a feature (or maybe an optional setting) that automatically moved the original file to the trash. It's something of a pain when I have 75-100 duplicate images sitting in the YEP window and have to go back and delete the now-duplicated original. Besides, many times the moved file won't show up in the window right away. Any chance of that in an update?
